People you place in your contacts list will get through as usual but anyone with a private / withheld number or a number that is not in your contacts list will hear this message; CALLS TO THIS NUMBER ARE BEING MONITORED BY TELSTRA GUARDIAN; PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME AND THEN PRESS # AND WE WILL CONNECT YOUR CALL. You will then have the option of either accepting or rejecting the call.

They call and hang up as soon as you answer, saying nothing. They also call from (07) 3260 7022 as well. I am pretty sure it is a debt collection agency.

If you ring up Hightide Holidays 1300 769 765) and give them your phone number they can unsubscribe you from their marketing list. They are quite nice about it actually.

We have similar problem with this number - no one there when we answer and the number not being recognised when we try to call it.

This number has called me several times. I emailed the firm National Mercantile which was the info your site gave me, they are a debt recovery firm. Their reply is that they are in Victoria and it is definitely not them. So who then???

Every time I look up this no. I get a different answer such as National Mercantile (a debt collection agency), free Solar energy and also Computer Sales. Whoever they are, would they please not call me. When I call them back, I get a busy signal or a message telling me to check the no and call again. I contacted National Mercantile by email, they assure me it is definitely not them. Whomever you are please leave me alone!

This number must be suss, when you try and ring back it sais (I have caller ID) number could not be connected, please check the number. This was within 5 mins!

Calls at least every other day.
