Caller: TSA on behalf of Telstra Wanting to arrange a time for a technician to connect us to the NBN. I said I didnt have time to talk to them at the moment once they asked for my birthdate, I didnt feel right about giving that out to them. I contacted real Telstra via live chat, they confirmed it was a fake call because when the TSA do call they make notes on the relevant account and there was no notes on my account.

What a waste of time it is to look at your phone and decide not to answer - so sick of this number calling and hanging up if I answer, I am now blocking this number.

This dingbat called my Wi-Fi modem so I didn't know about it until I saw a message marked on the modem, so I checked via Reverse Australia. Typical of Telstra to sell numbers to people from overseas. Got to make lots of money to pay the extreme "bigwigs'" salaries and don't care how they do it.

Just keeps calling and leaving no 'voice to text' message. (I don't have voicemail. On purpose.) Going in to the ever expanding block list.

Goes through to my message bank but then they just say my name as though I have answered even though my message clearly says I'm busy

Been getting calls from this number on the landline but now it seems to be on my mobile. I answered but no one said anything so I hung up. Possibly a scam call.

Caller: Telstra A girl named "Justine" said she was from Telstra and just making sure I was happy with my service. She asked me things like:
Do you have an internet service with us? Do you own any other phones? Do you have laptops in the households? Do you have any tablets? Do you commute or drive to work? Does your work have wifi? Do you live with a partner?
I unfortunately answered most of them until I caught on what was happening. I asked her why she was asking these questions and she responded that they wanted to assess my lifestyle to optimise their service to me. I told her these questions are getting too personal and I would like to stop. She was very fast to say bye and hang up.

Said she could do a better deal than what I was currently on. Asked a heap of questions about what phone I have and how it is performing, what Foxtel package I have, what internet etc etc. Put me on hold and during this time I googled the number and found this site - thought it was weird "Telstra" were calling offering me a discount.
