Caller: Representative from a Financial Planner

The offer was for insurance from a super fund.

Said was from guardian group, rang at 8pm on a Friday. Hung up straight away as who is not enjoying a beverage or some well deserved relaxing time at this time.

When a voice with an Asian accent opens the conversation with "How are you today" you know it's gonna be spam so you hang up and block the number. I can't believe the number of people on this site who ring back

Said i am not interested, and hung up.
Blocked the number!

Caller: Told me they where a solvent and do I work

I just told her this is not her business and hung up did ring back but just got extensions number 484

Didn’t answer, they left a message, 1 minute of a man singing very CREEPILY into the phone, sounds of a call centre in the background. Why is this man singing to me????????

I got a call from this number whilst in class and i did not know who it was so did not answer the call very dodgy as it was a number i did not authorise to have my new phone number very suspicious indeed....... this number has now been blocked

A woman with an accent called about unclaimed Super funds that the ATO will basically take possession of. They want to their financial advisor to speak to us and help combine all our Super funds. Asked heaps of questions. Did not trust them.

Beyond rude. Argued with me, very aggressive when I asked to be removed from their calling list and he said he couldn't guarantee the calls would stop. Told him I would go a legit company if I needed my super combined not some telemarketing company and he argued and was beyond rude.

Definitely a scam. Don’t answer.

Telstra needs to lift up their game and start offering ways of blocking calls for the consumer. There should be a method to block in several ways:
1) Total block for all unlisted numbers
2) Block to unwanted numbers
3) Block to all callers except for those whom enter a PIN number to be passed through.
4) Automated recording advising the caller that their call has been permanently rejected

Blabbering on about unclaimed monies from ATO through having a Super Account...wanted all my info than wanted my TAX file number! Background noise was noisy could hardly understand...dodgy as! Nosey noisey! Blocked!!

Missed call. Called back to be told "the person at this extension... is not available. Thanks for the info. Will block it

They called at 8pm, Left no message, Rang back and was asked to leave message, There was no company name but obvious it is,

same ! two missed calls and when called back went into a recorded voice. Just blocked that number
