They continually call. When I blocked their other number they just started using another number. I said "No thank you" so many times, that I now do not bother and just ignore numbers that I do not know and who do not leave a message.

They call and never leave a voicemail message. I don't answer numbers I don't recognise now - I've had too many scam calls

Seems legit to me. They don't call that often in my experience.

I worked for them in 2000's as a Leadinghand on the first government CJP. I made that happen though, I got critically ill near death for two weeks during it. Totally unrelated to the work.


Great organisation, they actually do something for community. Police officers involved are usually pretty great too. They really tried back then.

ANyway, yeah maybe they can be a bit pushy with details above, unconfirmed, but worth donating. Helps the whole community out in their locations.

Last point; My father said never donate internationally. Look after your community first.

Unfortunately, Do Not Call register doesn't apply to political parties, businesses you already deal with, or charities.

I keep getting 'missed call' notifications on my phone, because I've finally managed to block all the numbers they try to call me on but if they're not ringing my mobile, they're ringing my landline, still working on that one. I live in a rural area... different town now to the where I used to live... and made the mistake of donating a couple of times. I've stopped donating because both those towns never had a pcyc and all they provided was the odd Blue light disco once or twice a year, for primary school kids. nothing for older kids. Seemed pointless for my community really.

Same number tried to call me but my phone blocked it. If you have a Samsung Tap your phone icon then tap the 3 dots top right and go to settings and make sure you have "Caller ID and spam protection" turned ON. Hope this helps someone. I made the mistake of donating to PCYC once (and it is a good cause) but just like the RBFB you only have to donate once and they never leave you alone they are like seagulls when you throw a chip.

Same as above comments. I donated over 2 years ago & they call me everyday since. I block their number, they continue to call. That's the thanks you get for making a donation.
One day a person actually spoke to me & when I made it clear that i was so sick of their phone calls that it makes me no longer want anything to do with them, he told me they'd remove my number from their lists lol i still receive their calls daily. I cringe everytime I see/hear PCYC 🤦‍♀️
