At least I know I'm not the only one being targeted!

How rude. Ring for the umpteenth time. Saturday morning so I answer the phone. When I say I'm not interested, the dude tells me "then you mustn't be an interesting person" and hangs up. What sort of marketing do they think this sort of unacceptable intrusion into other people's life is good business? Now saved on phone with silent ring tone.

Once you answer they hang up! Rumors have it they have no spines and have 1 leg twisted in the opposite direction all attempts to eradicate this species should be taken.

Nearly every second day I get a call from this number. I have answered and told them where to go but it seems they don't understand plain English. Very annoying.

if they rng you again just dont hang up for hours they wont be able to use their phone to annoy anyone else i was getting these calls and remembered someone telling to not hang the phone up so i left it off the hook for a few days .. never heard from them after that for months

had to say 3 times that i wasn't interested for them to say ok and hang up! won't bother letting them talk next time!

Calling me every other day. I registered on the Do not call list for Australia a week ago. Should they keep calling me after the registration becomes active (30 days from application), I will lodge an official complaint.

It called my mobile so I rang it back. Got an answering machine saying welcome to Australian contact centre, we work for a number of financial institutions, sorry we missed your call. I will crack it if they call again it is starting to shat me

Dirty fckers keep ringing and hanging up.

Everyday these calls are coming in, ever since I bought something from danoz direct, and Im on the do not call register

I've just joined the Do Not Call Register (register takes a month to work) because of this annoying #. It has to be costing them a fortune - they always hang up when I answer. Insurance Line must be a con.!!!!!

Calls everyday, and even when I pick up it just disconnects..... thanks Michael for the tip I will call them tomorrow.

Yes it's very frustrating. But here's why the phone co's don't want to do anything about it.... they are making a fortune from all those calls the call centers make. Also all those auto machine calls that ring 1000's of numbers daily are paid for too. So the phone companies have avested interest in allowing all this stuff to go on. It's up to us. There used to be phones where you could prevent all but certain numbers causing the ringer to ring. But even in my quite new digital phone handset & base station that doesn't work properly. It's all a conspiracy to drive us round the bend!! lol :P

I get calls from this number on a daily basis. I answer but there is no one on the line. With the amount of complaints already being logged why is there nothing that can be done

Has called almost every day offering life insurance I just don't answer anymore
