I rang this number. Got an answering machine. It says that the number belongs to "Australian contact centre" and that they will call me again.
Extremely annoying. They called me in the middle of a meeting. These people need to be shut down for spamming.

So far this week there has been a daily call from the number and now yesterday it's gone up to 3 calls a day. When you answer they hang up. I'm on the 'Do not call register' or thought I was until I checked and found I wasn't registered any more and had been removed for some reason???

Came online to check who keeps calling me. It seems they are another annoying useless bunch of telemarkters trying to sell some crap.

I've had them call Me atheist 3 times a day morning lunch n night n there's never anyone there ! I added it to my reject list if That works !!

I'm writing to my local member with this and three other similar numbers that have hassled me; and I am going to be very tenacious about the Parliament doing something. Modern technology should have these guys wiped out within 24 hours.

Had these pricks call me the other day! But I stitched them right up. Keep asking who thr hell Australian Contact Centre is, and they hang up. Haven't had a call since!

Have had 8 calls in last 3 days and eventually took a call to hear some kiwi lady try to shove insurance line services down my throat. Asked her how she got my number as on ' don't call register' and have also made a complaint direct to insurance lie and the telecommunications ombudsmen....

Trying to call at 9pm at night?? Some people have no respect at all!!! Hope they enjoyed the sports whistle going off in there ear :)

Have been having the same problem as everyone else. "Australian Contact Centre". Judging by their answering machine, not the world's most professional agency. Use the Do Not Call Register. Also, get Telstra to block the number = end of game.

It's the 'Australian Contact Centre' called on behalf of Virgin Australia to sell income protection insurance. They copped an earful from me when after telling me that the call would be recorded, then they said they were flogging insurance!! I suggest you tell them where to go.
