Called wanting to talk about electricity accounts

I called back number (07) 3154 6302 rang 3 times then goes to busy tone.

I had the same experience, they called my mobile so I called on a landline and got an automated voice saying that all operators were busy and to leave my name and number and someone will call me back. They do not state their business name so I did not leave my information.

Called number back. No business name was given. Computer voice recording asking for a name a return number. Didn't give them my name just my number.

Called blabbering profanities in a foreign accent, there was a muffled scream accompanying the call before I disengaged the number.

I just had the exact same thing. Called the number back and it stated it was experiencing a large volume of calls, and to leave a message and my number. Of course I didn't leave any details...

Female sounded mid 40's knew my correct name. Said she was from Oz Homes in Victoria. The number flashed on the screen was 07 indicating she's actually in QLD. She rudely terminated the call when I said no thanks.

Same as the above - Receiving lots of calls from (07) 3154 6302 / 2317 - and do not answer. No voicemail left.

Selling discounted energy

This number rang my mobile this morning but did not leave a message. I called back and got the unidentified auto answer stating call volumes were high and requesting name and number. I hung up.

The didn't leave a message on my voicemail. Called back and received automated message saying the were experiencing a large volume of calls, and was asked to leave a name and number but I didn't. Hope I didn't get charged for doing that.

This is a telemarketer & scam. Called back on private number, and it doesn't tell you the business name just that they're busy, but you can leave your name & number and they will be "delighted" to call you back.

This number called, I picked up - nothing for about 5 seconds. I called the number back and a computer answered, unknown company. They advised there was a high volume of calls at present and to leave a voicemail.

Did they call you back? I'm getting the same thing. Not leaving any details though.

I think it's part of the scam that is going round, they hang up as soon as you answer (3 second mark) and by getting people to call back and they charge an exorbitant fee.
