Caller: Claimed to be EBay about an order I didn’t place - never use eBay!

Automated message stating my purchase for $299 would proceed unless I pressed a number to cancel or talk to an agent???

An automated message advising an ebay purchase.

Caller: SCAMMER PRETENDING TO BE EBAY

Automated robot message left on voicemail purporting to be from “ebay” saying I’ve made a purchase- telling me to call on blahblahblah number to “cancel” the order or 299.99 will be deducted from my bank acc - trick to make you call the imposter number back and get stitched up into their scam!

Caller: Said she was from eBay

Wanted me to follow their instructions and log in to an app on my phone so they could help me to cancel a purchase I did not make.
When pressed caller said she was in Market St, Sydney, Australia. She said someone had got hold of my ip address and someone in Ohio, USA was buying something for $229.
Did not follow instructions and hung up but she called me back twice. Ignored them.
