got a call from Specsavers with this number (07) 3153 6295

Called once and I answered stating my first name then hung up immediately. Called next day and Claimed to be specsavers brisbane. I refused to speak and hung up.

Claimed to be Specsavers but didn't answer when I called back.

No message, but reading previous comments, looks like a scam using Spec Savers as a 'front'.

SCAM warning.. this number: (07) 3153 6295.. claiming to be "Ben from SPECSAVERS at Noosa Civic"... he was calling about renewing my prescription / paying for my glasses... except I don't wear glasses 🤔
He sounded very convincing, professional and knew my full name and local store (which I visited last year). I ended the call as I was in the civic so said I'd just pop in and he quickly got off the line.
I visited the store and they confirmed there is no one at the store called…

Claiming to be "Ben from Specsavers" and named my local store. Excellent telephone manner, sounded legit.. As I am overdue an eye check up I assumed it was in regards to this.. the man then started to get a bit confused about why he was calling and mentioned me recently being in store (I haven't for over a year) which is when I twigged it was likely a scam call, i.e. "When you were in store recently your payment didn't go through.. you can pay over the phone now"..
