optus telemarketer - indian sounding man claiming to be called Robert offering something - i was not interested i hate telemarketers waste of my time - if i wasn't happy with my current provider i would change it myself.

Scam - Indian guy says he's from Optus, just trying to get your credit card number.

Indian piece of rubbish trying to scam me !! Idiot !!

So I had a stupid Indian man call me saying I had a bill to pay and if I pay it through him he will make it 50% cheaper, it was pathetic because I’m with Telstra not Optus so he was trying to scam me and get money out of me! It was so pathetic and he also started getting angry once I said I was with Telstra not Optus watch him!

Indian sounding lady called to offer 50% reduction on my Optus phone bill. Only problem was she didn't have any of my service or account details and just wanted information. Scam!!!
Don't answer that number.

Some Indian man called me trying to get me to do something with my phone number but I was unsure of what they were offering, seemed very suspicious...

Indian sounding woman called from this number saying I had been on this number for many years and always paid my bills and offered me free outgoing calls. At this stage I had to ask who she was from - Optus she claimed, how could she even know this if I'm with Telstra, told her not interested and she started to rave on again about but we are offering this deal to all customers even if not with Optus - WTF?, hung up and blocked number.

Per the other comments, a telemarketer saying that he was calling from Optus and had a good deal for me. Then asked me how much I spend per month. I was already suspicious and said surely you'd know that if you're Optus?? He then said he was calling from Optus's wholesaler. I called him on that and said Optus doesn't have a wholesaler as they own the network and called him a scammer. He scrambled to say he was with Virgin then. Beware...

This number came up as a missed call text but it isn't in my calls list. hmm. I keep getting these calls from qld and after the first two i just don't answer them. on that second call I even told the caller it was a scam and he admitted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a call from the above number. The lady tried to sell me a 20/month plan. Told her that i was quite happy with my current payment, but repeatedly tried to tell me that i'm saving 10 bucks. She finally gave up after i continuously insisted i was happy with Optus.

Just got a call from a man on this number. He had an Indian/middle eastern accent. He asked about my Optus mobile. I said I don't have an Optus mobile and asked him why he was calling. He started to mock my voice and asked me what I was doing. I then asked him what he was doing and said that I could see his number which I could use to give to the police to trace back to him for trying to scam people.

Got a call from this number this morning. As mentioned above, Indian sounding man, didn't remember his name. In my case he claimed to need my name/DOB/email so he could send me out a 4G simcard. I just got off the phone with Optus callcentre, and when I told them what he said they confirmed that was incorrect, wouldn't have been from them.

Claims to be from Optus. Called me three times in one day. First time offering 50% off my bill (I'm not even with Optus), then tried the same thing a few hours later. Third call was seconds after I hung up on the second call. He called back saying he liked my voice and wanted to see me.

Asking me how I was going to top up my pre paid. I don't use prepaid. Claimed to be from optus. Spammer.

This scum rings me every day, I just reject the call, watch out, they also use a few other numbers with the prefix 07-3152-9***

Just received a call from angry indian telemarketer from optus..when i asked who he was & said my ph isnt with optus..he told me to get f*cked & f*ck off..moron

Indian sounding man, calling himself James.
Said I could get 50% off my bill....if I just gave billing details.,
I said I wasn't interested, and hung up. (the number he called was a work mobile, and if he was legitimate, he would have already had those details)

Indian lady claiming she was from Optus with an offer of 65% off my current bill. She asked how much I was paying per month ( if she was calling from optus wouldnt she already know this information ? Lol) . I said can I call you back and she hung up. Probably scammers beware
