Got a call claiming to be from a company assisting people that have been in a car accident it’s a scam

Just got the call from these scammers. So, it looks like they are at it again. Says the call originated from Sandgate, Qld.

Caller: Robot “Steve”

Traffic accident scam. I’m also on the Do Not Call Register. I not only blocked them, I also reported them to the ADNCR. Must be scam season again, sigh!

Caller: would not divulge

the car insurance claim thing again, I told them I was smothering some dog food on my erect penis so the dog could lick it off and they said they were going to call the Police, I said go ahead....

Caller: Liam from follow up services (07) 3150 4012

Said ive been in a vehicle accident. Yet i have not. Swore at me when i asked where he got my number, as im on do not call list. Said i called them. Its a scam. Do not answer and block the number

Yes, this is a scam. The lady's recorded voice said, "Hello this is Amanda from the claims team. I am calling about the accident you were involved in..." An obvious scam. The don't even mention the name of their company. Block this.

I answered the number it was silence at first then it was transferred to an answering machine. Definitely would block this number

Caller: Luke

This is a claims farming company trying to get you to pursue a personal injury claim.They get your details from the health engine site when you book a doctors appointment...They then sell your details onto lawyers.

My advice is to do your own research and if you are injured and need to make a claim then see a local specialist lawyer like I did.

I got a random call from this number and it went to a robot voice that said hi this is Steve this is a follow up to your motor vehicle accident... press 1 to speak to a person press 2 if this wasn’t you I pressed one because I was curious and they said hi this is a follow up thing my names Luke he said I’ve been in a motor vehicle accident that wasn’t my fault I said I was only 12 and he said so ur 12 and have a mobile phone and hung up is this a scam?

Caller said he was from follow up support regarding my recent car accident. Wanted my personal details. I questioned him about what agency he was from and he could only say "follow up support" I said I had not been involved in any accident, so again he asked for my details so he could amend their records. I said "No. This sounds like a scam to me and I am going to report you to the police" to which he said "you sound like a scam" and hung up. The man had a Northern British accent, maybe from Liverpool or Manchester. I blocked the number and reported it to scam watch.

Got a Aussie accent male voice message claiming to be asking for information in regards to a car accident. Guess a change to a eastern accent. Wish these losers would get a life!! Comes up from Sandgate QLD.

Pause of silence after picking up then someone named Steve calling about a claim for a car accident I was apparently recently in.

Scam - advised me He needed to talk to me about an accident I was involved in . Press 1 to talk to an Agent Press 2 if I was not involved in an accident and wanted my details removed.
