Robot call about an 'insurance claim for an accident I had'

Call from Sandgate Queensland. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail message.

Was called about some offer, as soon as I said I probably wasn't the right person, instant hangup.

Just in case of interest having read the post Tamara left, there is also a scam going on where if callers try to get you just to say 'yes' or 'no', they are recording your voice and then use it in other more fraudulent scams. I try never to say Yes or No, rather wish washie responses.

I blocked them. so annoying!

Stupid insurance company that hangs up when I do answer. I keep constantly blocking numbers and they keep calling on different ones ughhhhh.

Just called. Selling funeral insurance. Hung up immediately.

So over getting repeat calls from this number.

This one rang on a Saturday at 3pm. After 3 seconds of silence they hung up.
I am now making a new contact called 'Insurance scammer'.

Called my unlisted mobile number and hung up without speaking.
Called them back from a landline number I never use.
Insurance spammers. I hung up without speaking as soon as the guy answered. My bit of fun for the day. Every time they try calling me, they will get another hangup call. 😂😂😂

This is highly suspicious. Caller ID shows as a land line number originating from the Sandgate area in Brisbane, Queensland. My enquiries with the guy on the end of the phone discovered he was actually calling from India from Client Advantage and was lead gathering for a company called Freedom Insurance who would subsequently be giving me a further call to ascertain my current personal insurance requirements. I asked where and how did he get my name and number - his reply was ... "from Australian Data Services. I cant wait for the call from Freedom Insurance !

Call from Sandgate in Queensland. Lady calling asking for my wife, said she wasn't selling anything but then immediately asked about my insurance coverage. Politely expressed no interest, hung up, blocked.

Do NOT answer.
