their not optus its a scam

yes. Looking this up for someone else who had similiar attempts to extract personal info from them. They asked for medicare, pension, drivers licence. passport. Fortunately after providing medicare and drivers licence(not used 30years) she became suspicious and ceased the information flow. Asked how they got her prepaid mobile number. their claim from Optus and they abruptly terminated call. This was the 4th call they made to her.

I have been receiving calls from the same number, I haven't called back because they never leave the name of the company they are with.  And considering I use pre-pay I doubt my phone provider would be trying to contact me so hard to talk about "changes to my account".  So I did some digging and it's from a company called telco-4-u, they look like a mobile phone brokerage, so this is definately a ploy to get you to change from your current account.  I'm going to be sending them a "nice" little email telling them where they can shove their "changes to my account".

Who is this??? They constantly call an leave messages re: an apparent mobile account that i have with them, they are NOT my mobile service provider, also when I have tried to call them back I am greeted by an anwering service which i am being charged for.Who are they and how did they get my number?

Is this a major scam?

Are they dodgy company? They also called me and I thought they were from optus and so i signed up. Now I'm really worried I've been scammed. What should I do?
