The people working here work for RemServ. I just had someone call me and the reason for the delay is that they work off an automatic dialler - they just told me. Sometimes because of the delay, you don't hear them or they don't hear you. It isn't a scam, they are trying to update what information you want to receive to your email and by phone call. That's all. Just doing their job and trying to ensure that you don't get information you don't want.

I just contacted them and requested that they stop stalking me :) i think 3 calls in the space of an hour without anyone talking to you is totally unreasonable.

What you will find is they they will ring using a computer and then if the call gets answered they mark you down as someone who answer and flick your details to an available sales team member.
The reason for the short call frame before hanging up is this, They ring from servers to test if you will answer. When calling a mobile device they will ring ring ditch before it goes to message bank as to avoid the call connection cost as this is dead money to them if you dont answer.
I hope this helps answer some of your questions.

Caller: Remserv apparently The guy was very cocky and does not sound professional, so I doubt about him and I dropped the call. He was doing promotion about salary sacrifice which I already did. Dodgy.

YOU ARE RUDE....if the businesses involved truly had the welfare of their employees in mind, they would not conduct themselves in such a manner that causes clients to be so enraged that they abuse the employees. Simples.

Telemarketing call. Was a little alarmed because I *do* actually have dealings with them. A quick call to their 1300 number (phone back on this one will result in a hang-up) got that sorted.

I don't know how these people got my number, but I wish they would stop ringing me. They call nearly every day on both mobile and landline. I have never requested their services but I do work for a govt dept so maybe someone is breaching confidentiality.

It's Remserv. They've called me three times this week and all hang ups. I called them back and asked to be put on the do not call register. Let's see what happens shall we?

I'm the same as most here, they called my mobile and I didn't pick up. Immediately call my land line twice, each time I pick up and nobody's there.

Same problem. Answered call and nothing at the other end. Rang the number the next day received a reply from someone from Remserv ???? I rang the actual Remserv number and gave them this number and expressed my concern.

Remserv apparently their h/o in Melbourne as I called back. The fellow was very cagey! But apparently it was a call possibly for marketing re: new benefits.
I asked why the ring for 2 rings and continually hang up. He couldn't answer this and wasn't interested in notifying anyone higher than him.
It's highly annoying and inconvenient!
I spoke with Customer Service and asked them to remove me from their promotions and marketing list.
They have a do not call option.
Hopefully this will work, if indeed it is not a hoax line (as customer service to me this number is not a Remserv number)
