Sun corp are wasting a lot of energy and time attempting to make calls to people who are simply not interested, myself included. I did not sign up for this.

Am sick and tired of them calling me l have blocked there number on my mobile but they still try ass holes

Mum has been receiving these calls on a regular basis at the same time each day. When she finally answered, the line is dead silent.

i called the number and it is suncorp group inc Gio and Aami. the automated msg says "no action is required by you. We will call you back if necessary" and hangs up on me!! don't bother calling me back thanks!

Received a call and was told they were calling from GIO to update my contact details. I was asked for my email and mobile number - I said I did not want to give that out. They then said was my address nothing like my real address they then called me by an incorrect first name. I said I would check with my insurer GIO - I did so and they have all my details correct.

You can install "Truecaller" free software for Android and you will see that this phone number is already in the list as a spam by name "Suncorp Insurance", so just click block the caller and is done.

I stupidly entered a competition and have had calls from at least 10 different numbers that are all telemarketers... They're driving me crazy!

I have had multiple calls from this number during working hours - refuse to answer but as I am insured with AAMI I assume it is there call centre. I have blocked the number.

Just ring and don't talk...block the number...have some peace!

I also have had exactly the same problem! They do not leave a message and persistently call. I will not be returning their calls if they don't leave a message as to the purpose of their call. Thank you for all for posting about this number, it's saved me heaps of time!

I got a phone call from this number today. The guy advised that he is calling from Suncorp Customer Relations and is enquiring about their service to me. He was aware of my full name and address. He asked me to confirm my date of birth which I did, however I then got carefull in giving details out so I asked him what type of business do I have with Suncorp. He was very nice and polite and said that its ok if I am wary and he gave me a phone number to call ....some 130o or 131 number which goes to suncorp (of course even a scammer can give you those details)......then he politely ended the call. He didnt ask any survey questions of the sort. And I possibly just gave me date of birth to some scammer I wouldnt even know. I do have business with suncorp and he didnt even tell me what it was other than to say I have 'various products' with them. in summary, it is difficult to tell if this was some company trying to get further details of me for some future cons or not. ...

APIA - actually he asked me whether I wanted to "opt out" of any further marketing calls from APIA as well as across the Suncorp Group. No problem with that.

They are part of the Suncorp Group which can include AAMI. My advice to others is NEVER EVER EVER give away your personal information to a cold caller.
