This seems to be an outbound call centre number used by Suncorp. They own various other insurance brands. If you opt out of marketing for one company it does not apply to the rest. Therefore if you have rung around and got quotes from 5 different companies or entered competitions they may run from time to time, and agreed to marketing at each, you would possibly receive calls from the various companies because of this. You would not need insurance with any of the companies to warrant a call. Quite simply when you ring up to get a quote opt out of all marketing from the beginning or don't be competition junkies and you will not receive such calls - i figured this out after some lengthy ringing around! rang the number back and got a message from "Suncorp"(do they own Shannons)saying they will call back,hope they do now as i am prepared for the call and will be giving them a mouthfull.

Ahhhh they call me several times a day on my mobile, i've never answered and don't intent too!!

Wish they would not continue ringing.

Have had 2 calls in 2 days. The first disconnected straight away after answering, the next was a female voice saying hello after a longer pause, lot's of background noise just before it disconnected. If you are trying to spam/scam then do a better job peoples!!!

I have had a dozen calls from this number.

It is on my work phone and not a number I recognise. There is never a message left. I'm glad I looked it up as it as affirmed my decision not to answer. Annoying!

It was AAMI asking if I wanted life insurance with them as I have all other insurances with them. Not a scam. Just said I was uninterested and all was good.

These people seem to be trying to get information out o people by pretending to be from a lot of different companies. They've tried it to me on a few different numbers but its always the same crap they're tryna spin me in order to get my details. Sounds like a scam for sure!!

They have just tried to call me. I didn't answer because I don't know the number and they didn't leave a message. My numbers are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER. I do not have insurance with Suncorp or any affiliated place. So why would they call me??

Opting out does nothing. This is harassment, keep calling if you want to keep getting sworn at.
