A message was left saying it was Aust tax office and threat crimsoned legal proceedings about to be put in place. I rang number back and they repeated message, I told them I was reporting number to the ATO - Australian Tax Office as I thought they where scamming people, the person hung up.

This call came in this morning - Scam call - a call from the ATO issuing an arrest order - voice has an American accent

Said hello and then a very strained automated voice said they were the Australian tax office hung up straight away

Scam caller; automated message claiming that they are from the ATO and a law suit has been filed under “your name”

I rang once and got disconnected
