He said he was from Telstra and wanted to send someone out to our property to discuss the NBN upgrade. I asked more about it (fishing) and wanted to know why someone needed to attend. He said someone will come to my property and have us review the plans and sign a new contract. When I advised I will have to go into a store to discuss this matter as I was out and it was easier, he told me that wasn't necessary as someone will come out to my property. He didn't have my details so I told him I will call him back. This is a scam caller!!

Caller: Alan from Telstra with heavy accent

Same story about the NBN. Called back and did answer as 'Alam from Telstra'.

Rang & checked with Telstra-definitely a scam call. Not a number of theirs.

Caller: Alan from Telstra ... Apparently

Said was from Telstra about upgrading us to NBN. (Had NBN for 3+years) asked if we had NBN, when I said if he worked for Telstra he should know that, said that his records were old .. Hung up at that point.

Said he was Alan from More Payments. He wanted to talk about an Eftpos upgrade for the business

Alan from More Payment called regarding our EFTPOS machine saying it required a changeover from our previous supplier as they had been taken over by a new company. He wanted to send someone to our premises to make changes.

Sounded like a scam, claims his employee number (Delta Number) at telstra is D607261

Said he was calling from Telstra about an NBN upgrade - sounded suspicious.
Just took a message to see if any other comments here and oh boy!

Called, said he was working with Telstra and wanted to talk to us about upgrading nbn. I asked him what HIS company name was and he kept avoiding it. I said you can hear me, now tell me where you are from...he said DCAUS LOGIC. I called him back on this number, he answered only with "Hello" SCAM!!!!!

Called me and offer me search engine optimization, he told me he was calling from Telstra, in this COVID-19 crisis telemarketing calls.

Called to business and even know about the name of the owner said to arrange a time to come over and install NBN, I suggested him to send email and he said he doesn't know how to send email too technology for him?? excuse me?

Allan called me from (07) 3102 2654 saying they were a website development company and wanted to discuss website hosting, website support and management.

Says he is from NBN and you must connect to NBN today or they will disconnect your phone service.

Same story as everyone else. "Alan" stated he was an NBN contractor for Telstra and wanted to know what lines we're using. Shouldn't he know this already? Don't take the call - it's a scam!

He called and asked to speak with the owner. Advised that they were on annual leave and are already organising our NBN with Telstra directly. He asked if he could send someone in on Monday. Advised no. I asked him if he was a contractor for Telstra and he said "no, I book appointments". SCAM

Caller: Alan - apparently from Telstra

This chap called claiming to be from Telstra and wanting to send someone to our property of switch to NBN. I explained we are a business within a large building. He was quite insistent that the owner of the phone line was responsible to make the change. I was very suspicious and refused to make any commitment. Having read previous comments - agree an obvious scam.
