Called back..not connected

Caller took about 10 seconds to speak after I answered. Claimed to be from charity called little steps or something like that.
I hung up straight away as not interested.
What is confusing is not only am I registered on the donot call register which I know does not apply to charities, but, I also have an unlisted number.

This number rang me three times in a space of 2 minutes. Came up as "Step back Charlie " never heard of it, considered it a scam, blocked the number and deleted.

Caller: Woman = Surname Thomas

Said she was from a charity called 'Your Community"
Just asking for money.
Called a number that has not been used in 3 years that we have as a backup number

Fundraising Institute of Australia - I hung up on her.

This number called twice 2 minutes apart and listened to our answering machine message, but did not leave any message. Probably a scam.

Probably a scam, my phone read out says this no not available.

Had a missed call from this number so I called it back
Got automated message "the number you have called is not in service, please check your directory & try again"

I returned a call from this number (07) 3101 8549 but no one answered the call

rang and did not leave a message
