This is a company that says it is calling you in regards to your entry into an online competition........

Apparently a "manager" will call you back. But if you're ever lucky enough to get through to the number that called you, you can really push them to get your number off their listing.

They have to comply, especially if you tell them the number they called you on is one you NEVER distribute or use to sign-up, so that they only way they got it is via "harvesting" (which is illegal in Australia). Drop government body acronyms like ACMA and that will rattle them.

Then insist they completely remove your number.

I was getting calls from the NSW number (02) 8015 6908 which is exactly the same thing - you get a missed call and when you call back it's about an online competition. My recommendation is not to call the number back.

Spam... But I answered because it was a new number they were calling from... So annoying.

Thanks to this website I've blocked this number. Explains enough for me to not answer. I too am on the Do Not Call Register & i can't say being on rhis register has helped any. More & more have somehow got my number & i cant even say how many pesky calls i get DAILY while I'm trying to work. Its just unbelievable really & frankly very annoying. I've even had 11pm calls & thinking it could be my family that live states away & trying to read what the number is thru waking eyelids only to hear its some kind of telemarketer really rubs me the wrong way especially when i need to get up at 3am. Thank you to everyone here who has taken the time to mention this number's reason for calling. Slowly they will all be blocked but in the meantime, I'll just keep adding to my blocked numbers list. :-)

They're claiming they are an online competition.

Don't call back these numbers. I am certain they charge you 0.50c for the pleasure. Check your phone bills, my husband got sucked in because he was actually waiting on a work call.
If I don't know the number I always google before calling back.
I am getting these calls daily now. I block one number and the next day a different number calls, when I look it up on here its all the same info.

First it was a 02 number, blocked that, then it was an 03, blocked that, then it was this 07 number. Claiming to be an online competition.

Get harassing calls all day every day even from other numbers that they call from. Report them online and BLOCK their number.

I have had a number of 03 and 02 calls over the last couple of weeks. I haven't answered any and blocked all of them. This is the first one from Brisbane that I've had and accidentally answered it as I thought it was a local number. I'm worried that it might be some kind of identity theft? I'm wondering if they keep calling to make sure the number is correct before using my identity?

They called me today. I let it go and no voicemail message was left. I called the number back and it went through immediately to a recorded message saying if you were called from this number it was in relation to an online competition that you entered. Number has been blocked.

I GET CALLS EVERY DAY FROM MELBOURNE, SYDNEY & BRISBANE. YOU ANSWER THE PHONE AND IT IS SLIENT THEN IT TRANSFERS TO SOMEONE. I KEEP BLOCKING THESE NUMBERS AND THEN I GET A NEW NUMBER CALLING ME. IT DOESN'T STOP. THE LATEST FROM BRISBANE (07) 3077 9330, (02) 8015 2270. THESE ARE ABOUT 2 OF 15 NUMBERS. IS THERE SOME WAY OF STOPPING THIS OTHER THAN GETTING A NEW NUMBER.
