Caller: Asian/PI? middle aged woman. Been calling, asking for the owner ((he's just never around)) for over 12 months. Comes in waves. Every day for a week, then nothing for a month, then one here and there. I answer sometimes, but usually ignore it. When I feel like playing them, I promise to pass on the message to myself about the 'urgent need to speak about your energy bills', and then ignore the calls for a few months or so .....

SCAM - Said her name was Emily ..something (could not understand her very well). Then said she was from HDM or ReachDM or something like that and wanted to confirm my name and address, etc . When I asked her to spell the name of the company she was calling from, she hung up on me.

Yep, same - and when they ask to confirm details, line goes blank for a moment, like they are recording response. I hear that with this sort of scam, they ask you elementary questions that you answer OK, or yes or right to, they then hang up and then they dub in their words as if you are consenting to a product or service. Just hang up, they are illegally recording & are scammers

They rang today wanting details. She hung up when I asked what company she was from. Unfortunately I didn't realise it was a SCAM.
