Scammer, machine dial, wait for a human. Just hang up and block the call

It's a from a marketing company called Cohort Australia that collect and distribute your personal info when you fill in a survey or enter a competition online. They do give details of how to get off their list on their website....let's see if it works.

I filled out competition for Jet Star to win travel voucher for $1000.00 and deleted once they started to ask personal details and before the survey ended within seconds emails from all over about insurance and other competitions the this number (07) 3063 0758 started to call I had already blocked one number similar, I answered told them they where scam then she hung up.

A woman with an Indian accent came on the line after the machine clicked her through and she wanted me to complete a lifestyle survey to finalised entry into a competition I supposedly entered. Then I was in the running for a prize of $250,000. For a company called Brands of choice. I told her that I don't remember entering.

Started filling our an invite to be a mystery shopper for Aldi and to receive $200 voucher to do so. After going through several 'offers' for insurance etc in which I ticked the no box, I exited out of there before giving my consent for calls but to no avail. These low life leechers keep calling. Silly me. I never answer a call number I don't recognise so they wont do any good anyway!

Same thing happened to me today, they've called 3 times in the past 3 days at similar times and said my name was somebody else - then proceeded to ask me what number I was dialing from, very confused - number is blocked.

Has been calling more than 4 times a week and more than three times day. This is crazy.

I received a sms message from to enter a Woolworths competition which I started filling till it started to lead me to other stuff like life insurance etc to which I then deleted. The very next day I received calls from PCYC and other idiots about other comps. Ignore all and block the calls.

Quite a delay in speaking, she had an Indian accent, could hear background noise that it was a call centre. She confirmed my name and then said something I couldn’t understand as her accent was so think. I said “who are you why are you calling, there is no reason to call?” And she hung up on me.
I had clicked a website to receive some free samples the other day so maybe that is how they got my number? Even though I unsubscribed from emails etc.

4 calls in three days from this number. Told them to stop calling and have blocked them.

Did not answer as I did not recognise the number, came to "reverse lookup Australia" site and then blocked this caller, so sick of scammers
