They just called me. Hubby answered, they never spoke so I rang back and got "this phone has been disconnected "

I am so sick of whoever it is that makes these calls from all different numbers. I never answer if I don't recognise a number. If they can't leave a message then it's either a scam or telemarketers. Wish we could do something to permanently stop this annoying practice.

Solar scam you have to make out you're interested then leave phone on table or let your 4yr old talk to them very amusing

This whole nightmare of constant tele marketers started after I accepted a $100 free Aldi Voucher many years ago (Obviously it was nothing to do with Aldi) .. it was simply a scam to get my details and never saw any voucher ever .. treat these people with contempt they are not to be encouraged (simply hang up is good but if they persist tell them you will never buy from a cold call etc when they persist hang up) do not give them any more of your details, sometimes they will say they are doing a survey etc, they are liars and thieves .. my policy is to never ever buy from any cold call or door knocker .. buy once and they will be ringing/knocking every single day with another product and use various "hard sell" tactics (it happened to someone I know and they target the gullible, aged and frail) .. this personal detail colecting scam is part of a huge criminal operation which I have traced back to the sicilian mafia .. this is just one of the more recent phone numbers and they usually change regularly ..

This number called me today. When I answered it was hung up. Very annoying calls. Get so many of these. I just block the numbers.
