Everytime they asked pointed questions (one where you would answer yes or no) the phone went silent as if they were recording your response. Sounds incredibly dodgy like they wanted to record your response so that they can scam you elsewhere...

Just a call from these guys asking for 'Simon'. I said I'm not Simon and they offered to "tell me what the call is about anyway". I said no thanks, and hung up. It's a bit of a give away when you can here 101 other telemarketers talking away in the background that they're in a crammed call centre somewhere in Mumbai, and not in Brisbane as the number would make you think.

Block it on your mobile the moment you see the number and DON'T ANSWER IT. Obviously dodgy and some sort of scam.

Don't know how they got my number, I keep it very private. Selling something but didn't give them the chance to explain further! Now blocked.

Called my corporate mobile number, and asked to speak to "unintelligible" but was not me. I said, sorry you have wrong number...and then caller tried to say...let me tell you what it is about. When I said was a business line he said sorry and hung up.

Called and I picked up. They hung up straight away. I'm not even from the same state as the number that was calling

just keep ringing then leave "hello hello on my voicemail"

I felt is was one of these 'yes' scams where they record your voice then use it to buy expensive phones on contracts. The questions were awfully easy to say 'yes' without thinking!
