Scammer. Caller shouted "This is not a scam call!!" That's how I knew it was a scam call.

So annoying have private number and on do not call list and I have guardian phone system slowly weeding out nuisance calls

Indian call centre using an Australian like called me first about tax rebates then about solar. I have blocked the number. (07) 3053 5951 - told him not to call again

They contacted me and indian sounding person asking about solar rebates. I am on the don't call list and I still get these. I have had this mob and two others. waste of my time.

offer to improve my tax situation - asked too many questions about my finances, which I did not answer.

Luckily, I can list a name next to the number calling me. I classed this one as, 'PEST'. When I get a call from PEST, I take the phone out to the dog, and he sniffs it. I woder what the Indians must be thinking when they hear Bruiser sniffing.

Caller forgot he was talking to an Australian, garbaged on in ?Indian. I said "Your call is pointless if you don't speak English" and hung up. I'm otherwise inclined to put the phone down (off the hook) and let them talk to themselves until they decide to hang up. If you can waste their time as much as possible, it impacts their strike rate and continuity of their employment at the call centre.

Just had yet another call from these bloody people 😡

Never answered landline let it go to answering machine but never any messages left. Now I'm getting them ringing my mobile. Not answering that either. Grrrrrrrrrr

message ? I was told that "POSSIBLY" Queensland police are aware of this number ( A while ago ) ? As not sure what the intended caller,s > 'AGENDA" is ? I ,ll just list this as a "BOGUS"
or "WRONG" number ?

This number calls at least twice a day. I let the answer machine pick it up. Never leaves message. Don't understand why telcos don't stop these calls. Maybe it's because the telcos make too much money for them to stop these calls.

Do Not Call Register does not apply to these Oxygen Thieves! We are on the Register and they still call us. These people keep calling convinced that someone by the surname "Bayswater" lives here. They do not. I've now taken to having a squeezy bike horn that I keep next to the phone. It doesn't stop them from calling but I sure enjoy blowing the horn down the phone :-)

This is why I'm ditching my landline. They get your number from White Pages. Telstra charges money for me to be excluded from Whitepages. So Telstra is complicit in this never ending trawling of mugs that these companies undertake. Simple solution - get rid of the landline! Telstra misses out because of their idiotic pricing. I get to miss out on 26 nuisance calls per month.
