I let all my calls go through to the answering machine, Which tells people to stop ringing me if cold call and that all calls are recorded - doesn't stop them ringing but they don't leave a msg . My Phone records number so I check reverseaustralia to check if genuine or not. This way I don't have to deal with them.

Is there any way possible you can have them organise to come around and do quotes on whatever they are trying to sell. Rather than wasting $0.10 on a phone call why can't we work it getting them to waste $100 on a visit and just keep them waiting and waiting. Just an idea to get satisfaction and revenge

Hubby took a call from this number last night. He was in the mood for fun!! The caller asked for Mrs Bayswater (again, who does not & never has lived here). Hubby replied with, "This is ***** Police Station, are you after Sgt Bayswater?" Caller hung up immediately. Hubby was so disappointed that he couldn't drag out the call longer for fun. We will be doing this from now on.

Make a complaint with the Do Not Call Register. It takes about 5 minutes. Add fuel to the fire to get them stopped.

Indian voice calling about "new Government welfare benefits for homeowners" when asked about if employed, told them I was retired, this made them disinterested and went away. I keep a log on my computer about this type of calls, this same No called 2x mid 2017 about solar rebates(scam), from now on I will be telling them "retired" :)

They ring several times a week. Phone usually goes to answering machine. No message. When I do pick it up they hang up. Serial pests.

Answered as expecting a call from a similar number. Line was quiet followed by a short sharp high pitch tone and then "Good-bye" in a recorded voice. Yet another on the 'Do not answer' list……..
