Caller: Spam call from a person This is a spam call, which occurred on 08 November 2019 . A recorded message announces himself as "Steve". The message from "Steve" says that he was "just calling about the accident you were involved in" and was collecting further details.
I could choose to "Press 1" to continue to speak to a person or "Press 2" if I was not involved in an accident.

Got a phone call and when I answered there was a slight pause, and then a recorded message about an accident and that he was from the claims unit or something. Was told to press 2 if I had not been in an accident. Very Australian / English accent - like what you might get on a government hold line or such.

called 2:08pm on 6.11.19. Recorded message from 'Steve' saying 'just calling about the accident you were involved in and to collect further details, Press 1 to continue or Press 2 if you weren't involved in an accident".
of course I wasn't in an accident and therefore this was a spam phone call.

Caller: Car accident scammer Missed the initial call, called back as it was a Brisbane number, it didn’t connect, so I called again, got a recorded message regarding a follow up of a car accident I had, gave options to press “1” to be put through to someone or press “2” to have details removed.
They won’t remove your details.. just block the number.
