Thanks, the number just rang my home number (no one does that generally as I do not give out my number so rarely answer the phone before it goes to the answer service) I have an answering machine & they left no message.

Called today 14 nov @1300hrs said he was from Telstra and we hadn't paid the bill. Pressed on saying you had to pay even though we told him we dont have a Telstra account. This number called about 2 weeks ago saying he was from the ATO, Jason was his name, and scamming is his game, telling us we hadn't paid our tax bill and the local Sheriff was coming to arrest us.....still waiting to see them Jason....

Telstra technical support - lol, JACK (Asian) I asked for the phone# (02) 8007 5564 (i have #display of (07) 3018 7514) I played along with them, gee my computer has alot of errors. asked me to download SUPREMO free (remote desktop application) I asked them for their ID# for this app. Jack then passed phone over to senior manager (JENNY) also ASIAN. got very aggressive and swore at me. I said excuse me, she then proceeded to tell me her SUPREMO ID# 091 412 750. yeah right. Will this cost me any money - her response if it is only minor no, but if it is more involved probably only $5.00 yes five dollars rofpmsl; I told her if my computer has so many issues I will take it out the back and smash it and go buy another one. She then told me my internet connection will be blacklisted to make sure nobody else uses my computer and spreads this problem. I thanked her and hung up lol........ I dont need a technician, I am a qualified computer technician/engineer...... but it's good to keep track of what programs they are insisting on to connect for remote desktop and the takeover of your personal information... stay safe everyone.

I got a call from these guys today, heavy accent, claiming to be an officer from the ATO. I said "nice scam" and he said "this is not a scam so i am sending a police officer to have you arrested and hung up!" hhahaha.

This is a scam! I have just had a phone call from this number today it was a woman claiming to be from Telstra. She told me that our internet will be disconnected for 6 months. When I asked why she said apparently some people were accessing our internet and sending stuff that was being stored in their data. She asked me if I had given our internet password out to anyone. We never do so this was sending alarm bells off. She then asked me to sit in front of my computer and turn it on and she would show me how they were accessing our internet. This all sounds very suss to me so I hung up. She has not rung back. She had a foreign voice and the number she called from was (07) 3018 7514. I believe this to be a scam as I have never heard of Telstra disconnecting someone for 6 mths like this. Just want to warn others not to fall for it.

Just got a similar call, claiming that a court summons was on its way but to contact another number ASAP. I've added this number to my blocked list.

Got a Call today. I don't know any 07 numbers so I put it on hands free. They said good bye and hung up, but not before I pressed the big red BLOCK NOW button on this CPR Call Blocker. Best gadget I've ever paid for. Another scammer that gets a simulated Fax tone and pays for the call out of their own rice allowance at the scum call centre they work from. Google CPR CallBlocker or look it up on E Bay. 1200 memories. I'm sure there are other ones out there, but I'm happy with this one.Just wish it would fire an incendiary bomb down the line back at these bastards. Perhaps the next model?

I had a call from this number today. Guy with thick accent didn't catch his name claiming to be from optus bigpond telling me my internet is going to be cut off tomorrow I said I couldn't understand him and was promptly hung up on. Funny I haven't heard of optus bigpond and I'm not with optus anyway. Was really noisy in the background too.

Just had a call looking for someone else. I politely asked they remove my number from the list because the person they are looking for does not own this number. To which he replied "can I remove your bra from your body" I was deeply offended!

Claim to be a Jason from ATO. Sounded to me like a recorded message. Now how dumb do you think most of us are? Could tell it was a total scam. Called on a 07 (qld) number and was telling me to call back a 03 (vic). Now that's clever ey, not.

Initial call came from (07) 3018 7514 directing me to (03) 9021 6915. Claims to be Tax office and threatening criminal prosecution. Will ignore but a shame that the number cannot be disconnected.

I have been called regarding the number (07) 3018 7514, they said nothing and then hung up. I called back twice but after it ringing for a couple of times it just goes to music.

Had these bastards call at close to midnight when i was in bed asleep. Cant remember who they said they were this time but in previous days had the ATO scam on my answering machine. Great to hear that this problem has been known since at least 2012 and the government has done ZERO to help
