This is a SCAM! I got a call from this number. Told they me they were from Telstra and if I logged into a certain number that I would be able to resolve some issue with my phone number. They became quite upset with me when I told them I didn't know what they were talking about. When I tried to call back, the number just played music.

Just had a call from this number. Indian guy called Mike, claiming to be from technical support for windows. I didn't bother to listen anymore and just hung up.

Totally sick of these people with very English names and very Indian accents calling up to five times a day. I get in first and ask if they are calling from the Technical Dept of Telstra. They will then hang up but an hour later they call back again. Today they (Indian accent woman) said she was from the ATO and that I was being charged with tax fraud. I kept asking questions to baffle her "Why have I not been notified" "Why has the ATO not sent out information by post" etc. She got shirty and said that a policeman would be on my doorstep in half an hour with an arrest notice. Bastards. Sick of them and their threats.

Ok this number must be in use as a scam again...got one today...as I have a private phone it came up with the number, I do not know anyone with a 07 Qld code, so didnt pick up, and googled number , brought me here. I have a whistle by phone, think I will be a rude cow from now on. If it isnt a legit call, I only have landline for internet it is a registered private line..... I belong to all do not call sites, relevant for Australia...dont think they work too well anymore :( :( When will they learn we Aussies dont like telemarketers, or cold calling, and another one of mine, I sound unreasonable, but I work, pay my bills, own my home and should be able to live in my house without interruption. Sorry about rant....

this call was from Telstra about my internet connection - that someone was hacking into it and putting stuff onto my computer - told the lady I had to go out and didn't have time to turn my computer on. She said if I didn't my connection would be terminated in 2 hours. Had these calls often before - this time I said, okay terminate it.

anyone who receives a call from this number (07) 3018 7514 is a scam, they have called us so many times over the past year. The first question they ask is 'have you been in an accident?' I asked this person which insurance company they claim to be calling from and he proceeded to tell me that they deal with multiple insurance companies and my one had given my number to them. So I asked him if that was true who did they want to speak to? Why would my insurance company give a number without a name. CAUGHT. He had no explanation, he then told me that I would loose all my money from the claim I lodged. Despite actually being in a car accident recently I knew better than this. Do not give your personal details to these people even if they threaten you the way this guy did to me. These people are a menace to society.

Been getting calls from this number wanting to sell me ink cartridges. Despite my repeated polite refusal they won't take no for an answer, so I had to just hang up on them. VERY ANNOYING INDEED.

We have around 100 phones at our work premises and they go through the whole lot. I want to know exactly what it is they are after. I mean if they get a vulnerable person what can happen to them and why can't they be stopped?

Got a similar call from this number . Callers were masquerading as Telstra technicians with very thick hard to comprehend Indian accents. Tried to scare me into believing my internet connection will be cut for 3 months because of malicious activity emanating from my computer. I have an above layman's capability with computer hard and software. I told them I was not with bigpond but they said that Telstra was the "mother of all ISP providers", hence this is how they found out. I replied ..WOW ! I played along and they told me to run some commands on my computer to check some logs to prove their point, none of which made any sense to me. So the guy put me on to his "telstra" senior tech who was even harder to understand. He wanted my mobile number. I told him if he could tell me why he likes defecating in public even in countries outside of his ...I would give him my mobile number. He did not understand what defecating meant ...so I used a more colloquial term after which he immediately hung up. Checked out this site first them called the real Telstra about these fraudsters...and the many possible victims such as senior citizens that might have fallen victim for this ruse ie: excuse to load trojans into your computer under the guise of protecting the customer. Not to mention misuse of a telephone line which is a federal offense.... and as to why nothing has been done about this since 2012 as per this site ? They gave me a lame excuse that the number was not the Telstra's. So obviously Telstra is helpless or they are just as bAd when it fobbing off their customers with scamster like responses as to why they just can't yet get around to pulling out their finger and nabbing these pieces of sh*t.
