Someone with an Irish or Welsh (?) sounding accent calling from this number just left a message on my answering machine, telling me to phone (02) 6140 3472 regarding tax evasion and fraud and making threats if I don't sort it out. I just checked the (02) number, and others have also said it was a tax fraud call.

Got a call from this number, couldn't understand his foreign accent re who he was asking for so I told him he had the wrong number, he said Oh, and then he hung up

Rang me today - line was silent , after 10 seconds got a beep - asian voice asked for some random guy - informed her the time and number had been recorded and she had called a private number , I demanded her name so that I could give it to the Police and she hung up on me .

Just had the same happened to me rang them back rang a couple of times rings twice then they hang up.

Was called by number (07) 3018 7514 with the caller (male with accent) stating that he was from the Australian Federal Government. There were a lot of silent moments as if reading from a script. I told him that this was a load of rubbish and hung up. Later received a call where the caller was just listening (private number)

Called claiming from ATO and said I was being investigated for Tax fraud. Didn't ask me my name, would stop to repeat the call back number.

Indian claiming they were from telstra and he was cancelling my service etc. Needed access to my puter and ip address.

Idiots looking for the village.
I record what they say without me saying anything then when I get another call like it I play it back to them (when I can be bothered )
No use getting upset - soooo many scam calls - not worth it.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from the Technical Department of Telstra, but we all know that this is a scam, so as I could not be bothered to "play" with them today, I just hung up.

Sometimes it's fun to play along and keep them on the line and then tell them that their IP address has now been tracked by the Australian Federal Police and has been passed to local law enforcement so they should be receiving a visit very soon!

Purporting to be from Telstra to reset our IP address. I told him it was a scam. He said no so I asked for a Telstra phone number to call him on and he hung up.

Claimed to be from Telstra. Said there was a breach with IP addresses. He will help me to reset my computer. I demanded he provide his ID number and that I will contact Telstra. He then hung up. I reported this to ACORN.

They called today saying they were from Telstra, they said there was a breach with people's IP addresses and they called to help fix the problem. They wanted me to reset the settings. I told him that I will contact Telstra directly and requested his employee number. He said not to worry and that they really are from Telstra. I requested his Telstra ID number. At this point he hung up. I have reported them to ACORN.

They asked me how many light bulb i have, so that they can upgrade to LED. Calls at 7pm, which type of company does that? Totally rubbish, keep asking questions, i hung up the phone. Keep calling back to my home phone. Super annoying

They keep calling my home number. A bloody nuisance. Scammers! Hang up on them.

Says from Telstra calling about internet connection. Asks if I am the main internet user of house. Hangs up when I advise I am housesitting here for the next few months. Happened twice in the last week.

Indian guy said I had been downloading malicious software and that he could fix it if I go to my computer. I told him he was a scammer and I hung up on him. Funnily he didn't ring back.

Indian man called today saying I will receive lots of money from the Australian government....I just hung up...

Called where I work. He said he wanted to speak to the person who handled our website. He didn't understand the fact that we use an external Marketing Company. I said thanks and hung up.
