I got the lady (indian) to say "Hello" for a full 30 seconds. Something about an accident or debt agency or something. They need to be more creative.

Same call same number!

I scan all calls on the answering machine, and yes this is just another scam claiming to be from the ATO with similar details as above. Do not respond to the number they tell you to ring either. Most of all don't worry because its all fake. You're not in trouble with the ATO.

(07) 3018 7514. Just had a call from this number, when I answered no one on other end, so I hung up and checked on line for this number. Get at least 1 hoax call a day on my home number, which by the way I pay telstra for a silent number. Really dong their job!!!!

Many, many calls from this number selling funeral insurance plans and calling themselves OrionSelf insurance.

silence for a period when I picked up the phone , clearly an electronic trawler and then connected through to a person with a Russian accent who claimed to be from the ATO . - confirming this as a scam number.

Similar experience to Marita, complete with threat of local policeman approaching me with a warrant for my arrest. Seriously.

Had a call from this number (07) 3018 7514. Voices in background and then a few heavy breaths. I hung up. Vey annoying.

Just got this one. Left a message Asian voice giving common Aust name. Warrants for arrest & blah, blah blah. Owe someone money Blah blah. Ring them back to arrange payment HANG UP & don't ring them back

Called 3 times in succession today - didn't answer and checked here - fed up with all these calls !

Sounds like a recorded message with background noise, male claiming to be Jason Connor or O'Connor from the Australian Taxation Office claiming there is a debt filed in my name and is about to be executed. I hung up and called the number back which immediately disconnected.

Call from male - claimed to be from Australian Taxation Office. Hope his hearing is damaged from slam dunk.

Received a call from this number today, but I was driving so I said I was unable to talk. She said she would call another time. Looks like I won't be answering future calls lol

Rang insisting owed tax department money. Obvious ATO tax scam.

Claimed to be from the ATO - Australian Tax Office and had criminal case lodged. Definite SCAM. Typical Indian call centre BullS**t.

I had the ATO scam call me so I actually rang the 02 number about 12 times in a row "to say Hi". They got so annoyed with me they told me to stop calling to the point THEY BLOCKED ME!!!!
Anyway, that was the last time I ever received a scam caller - My reputation is mud around scamming circles I guess!!!
Try it - It works & is actually quite therapeutic.

Claimed to be from Telstra tech support, alerting my good self (instant giveaway) to the fact that my IP had been hacked and was being used by three other computers. Offered to walk me through the steps to show me where my setup was faulty. Yeah - sure. Loud background noise typical of a call centre. Has called many times - big nuisance when I am out in the garden. Pain in the neck.

Called today and there was a 10 second delay. Said she was calling from some government thing and kept asking for the owner of the house even when I asked how they got this number and to take me off the list. Started laughing when I said I would report her if she didn't take us off the list and she hung up on me. Tried to call number back and it just rings and hangs up straight away
