Just a hang up when the answering machine cut in, but I do not understand why this site protects these people. If I put in my own phone number it brings up all my details yet these pranksters all it shows is feedback and not a name or address where the number is registered!

Rang by a woman claiming to be from Telstra. Despite not having Telstra as an internet provider. Called repeatedly and was aggressive.

Had a call at 1:50pm today asking for my partner by first and last name advising he was from the ATO. Lets see how his scamming goes when he is rotting in jail.

Just had this call. An effective method to get rid of them quickly is to say that you work for the ATO and can you please have the case number. They f*ck off quick then as they know the game is up.

Have had several calls saying they have a warrant out for my arrest. Not the way they do things in Aussie. Why bother!

We got a call from this number and a female, possibly Indian, said our internet was going to be cut off. She said that she would help us avert that but we had to start up our computer. Another well-known scam. She hung up when challenged (abused). There was a gap before she said hello, and lots of noise in the background...like many, many other calls. We are on the DNC register too.

Had the absolute misfortune of having a call from this number. YES. Its an ATO scam. Very very convincing. As others have stated, ring Jason O'Connor but to ring back on (02) 8317 1152. All about a debt in my name. Going to have me arrested. Police will come to the door. I even asked to speak to his supervisor who then gave me an ID number etc etc. Sadly, I very nearly got completely sucked in but was lucky that a work colleague sitting near me started getting me to ask questions. In the end he was so frustrated with me he hung up but before he did, said that I will be arrested.

I had a missed call from this number, so I rang it back, each time I call it back (3 times) it will ring a few times then plays music..
Pfft, and we are meant to be 1 a silent line with Telstra and 2 on the DNC list..

(07) 3018 7514 one day I will Hit you my Metal Chair so you end up on a Wheel Chair for bothering myself with your constant calls. What is it that you want? You are Addicted to Phone Calling just like those Drug Addicts. Go to a Rehab before you end up on a Wheel Chair.

If it wasn't for the lack of understanding what the ATO does and their professionalism then this guys could be onto a winner .... You'd think it would be in the interest of the ATO or AFP To dig into these wankers.

I have reported this number (and others) to Telstra, and the ATO fraud/phising lines several times and yet neither care. Why dont they stop them surely claiming to be from the ATO or Federal Police (today's scam) is illegal.

Had call from this number and left 2 voicemails threatening to call back on (02) 6152 8654 as there are criminal charges laid on me from ATO. I tried calling back and the true dialer tells me its from PowerTel Australia and also says Puppy 24 Ub on the display. Definitely a scam....!!!!!

I just had a call from (07) 3018 7514 from an Asian male who called himself Frank and said he was from the Claim Advice Helpline telling me that someone from this number had a car accident. I had a similar call from an Asian female a few weeks ago but it was from a private number. When I told him this was a silent number and asked how he got my number, he hung up. Why are these people not being shut down? They are so annoying. We are too busy to have to stop what we are doing to answer these stupid nuisance calls.
