They got me on their 2nd attempt. They are a bona fide research company - not selling. They asked me questions about my understanding of the voting process - obviously on behalf of the Australian Electoral Commission. Took about 10 minutes. And no, I don't work for the company. (I hate unsolicited sales call and am on the Don't Call register.)

catiwrkr: Why would anyone want to talk to someone who is obviously as rude as you are? How about you suck it up and accept the fact that no-one wants to talk to you? STOP CALLING

I am getting a little tired of getting calls from this number. Was once a week now every day when I can't answer during the day or late at night.

catiwrkr; "in a democratic society we were entitled to ask people their opinions, you are entitled to use the phrase 'not interested' Dry your tears."
How about go out and ask people on the street instead of harassing them via phone. if the phone doesn't answer, then the person is not interested. It may be democratic, but there is a law against harassment.

If this is I-view you can ring (07) 3016 7600 and leave a message on their after hours answering service, maybe if we all leave messages they may get pissed off Monday morning.

Got a call from (07) 3016 7666. Polite woman. She knew of something I was involved in and was doing a marketing survey on it. When I told the woman I shouldnt be getting the calls as I had registered on the do not call website, she ignored me and said she can call because its marketing. Fortunately I have caller ID.. Just costs $6 a month, so I was able to make a complaint to the donotcall website. They do investigate all complaints.

Sneaky f*ckers. They were English speaking and said they were doing research for a company my work deals with. Looks like they are getting sneaky the scamming pricks

I get a call from this number almost every day at 8.30pm. I answer & immediately hang up...but it is very annoying and drives me crazy! It has been going on for months. I know you can get your telephone service provider to block certain numbers on your behalf..but it is at a monthly cost that shouldn't really be necessary. I thought that being on the Do Not Call Register might have prevented such calls...but it seems not.
