Caller: Claiming to be a charity from be kind organisation

When I picked up phone the was a delay then woman claiming to Emily from a charity be kind . I questioned her where she was from and she said Melbourne well the call had 07 that is not Melbourne. I talked to her being a scammer and how I knew for there was a delay in her being connected to me . She immediately hung up . She sounded like an auto recording. I asked her direct questions but she couldn't answer me like she would if she was a real person . This is a Total scam call beware everyone.

Why has Queensland become the base for these nuisance calls?

Caller: From an organisation claiming to be raising funds for suicide

I explained that I already am part of an organisation for suicide and volunteer with this particular organisation. She proceeded to push me to donate a minimum of $125.00.

Called from Cleveland, a suburb in Brisbane Qld. Did not answer them. Have blocked the number. Have had over 15 calls from random numbers in the last 3 days. A bit over it. Blocked them all. Scum, wish they'd just stop!!

I've had too many requests for donations - this one was the 3rd today. The cause may be worthwhile, but the current amount of cold calling is not appropriate.

Calls from several different numbers, different states etc. Always the same voice. Last time was Heather and today she was Lucy. Told her to stop calling. We’ll see!

Thank you for posting these comments. I let the voice go to message bank then check here to see if anyone else has a comment. I hope they also have a list of DO NOT CALL.

This is a very active number going by the forty-plus comments. Just received a call and will add to this list to give an indication as to the extent of these nuisance calls

Have had various variations of this number, showing as from Cleveland, Qld. Have answered once and saying from charity organisation, automated voice as when I tried to query her slight pause and then similar rhetoric. Blocked.

Rang twice today. Last time at 6.45 our local time. Never left a message but judging from other comments another scam caller.

As per previous comments, probably a scam. No message left. Blocking number.

Caller didn't leave a message. First time from this number. Do they have a group listing of "available" numbers, I wonder.

These same scammers are calling again, the politicians and the police need to stop these people.

number not in service but comes from North East Queensland, time we had a system to be aable to do a "reverse call" like in America, we need that here to stop these scammers
