Hacker - pretending to be from amazon saying i've had suspicious activity - got into my account

Long delay after I answered, so I hung up

Possible scammer

Someone called pretending to be from PayPal and had me on speaker because I could hear my voice loudly projected back. When I told her PayPal would never call direct and asked why she had me on speaker, she hung up.

Caller: Female

The caller had an echo like an overseas call and was suggesting my visa card was compromised during a paypal transaction. I kept talking until I realised she was a scammer attempting to get my banking details. I see many others have also made comments on RA.

Advised they are from PayPal and if I tried to make a payment. Definitely a scam.

Caller: Scam call

Scammer foreign lady said she was from Telstra and that my mobile internet was compromised. I pretended to sound panicked and started screaming at her 'My Rooter! My Rooter! Is something wrong with my Rooter!' (Not 'Router') After carrying on for a while, I calmly told her I didn't believe her and she hung up.

Scammer call - claimed to be from Telstra and said there was something wrong with my internet connection. I told her to 'go away' and that I wasn't with Telstra. Say this even if you are. Scammer call.

Answered with no reply

Caller: Claiming to be from the Commonwealth bank

Female Caller claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank and that an unauthorised international transaction had been made in my account. Hung up when I told her I didn’t have a commonwealth bank account.

rang but didn’t leave message. Probable scammer

Called me and then hung up on me without saying anything

waste of time, just ring and drop a few times. annoying.

Caller: Unknown

Said they were Vodafone and wanted to give me 40% off my bill just because they wanted to.

Has called repeatedly over a couple of weeks but never leaves a voicemail. Most likely a scammer.

Was for sure an overseas call. I picked it up as soon as I answered the call. Didn't make sense when the number was from interstate. Said they were from NBN. When I asked why couldn't give me and answer. Called them a scammer and hung up. Reported them to Scamwatch

Pretended to be from Commonwealth Bank, said I had authorised a payment to NZ. I kept him on the line for a good 5 minutes asking vague questions to waste time, but in the end he hung up

Said they where from NDN. When I questioned more about who they were and what they wanted she couldn't answer. Let them know they were a scammer and hung up

Scam call. Claiming to be from Pay Pal. Indian voice.
