Some sheila (calling herself Brenda in a recording) put me right off so I hung up on the call.

Calls, doesn't leave message. I DON'T KNOW YOU AND I'M NOT CALLING BACK. Am in Melbourne and you are in Brisbane. Scammer for sure.

Caller: 'Brenda' from the ANZ

'Brenda' rang me (again) to tell me that there 'was a request for a transaction of $1,200' on my account.

'Brenda' is a recorded message, and has many different phone numbers

Recorded message - commenced after a pause - 'hi it's Brenda from the ANZ Bank, we have received a payment...' is obviously a phishing / scam call.

Caller: Microsoft

I answered the call, they said they’re from Microsoft and it’s about my computer, I don’t have a computer so I hung up 😠

Indications from other websites is that this number is a scammer and referring to customers Paypal account.
Didn't leave a message on my phone when I didn't answer.
I am not going to bother calling back if they don't leave a message. Genuine callers/business people leave a message from my experience.
