Caller: 'Brenda' from the ANZ 'Brenda' rang me (again) to tell me that there 'was a request for a transaction of $1,200' on my account.
'Brenda' is a recorded message, and has many different phone numbers

Recorded message - commenced after a pause - 'hi it's Brenda from the ANZ Bank, we have received a payment...' is obviously a phishing / scam call.

Indications from other websites is that this number is a scammer and referring to customers Paypal account. Didn't leave a message on my phone when I didn't answer. I am not going to bother calling back if they don't leave a message. Genuine callers/business people leave a message from my experience.
