no message left and called back got a mail box too full...

Rang from Brisbane, and told me that someone in California was trying to transfer money from my account to the CBA; then the story changed and that it was my Westpac account and that he was from there. Fishing for my bank details. told him to stop scamming.

Caller: A man with an accent

Said he was from Amazon services and said a hacker was trying to use my account to purchase a new phone.

Scam

Claimed to be from Telstra. South Asian accent, busy call centre. Told me my Telstra internet has issue. I dont have both. Scam.

Caller: Female with accent (Spanish/Latino?), asked to speak with me (by name). Said she was calling from Amazon security and did I purchase an iPhone 14 this morning? II replied: “No, thank you for the call,” and then i hung up.

Recommend this number be blocked

Phone flagged call as scam caller, going by other comments it was spot on.

Similar call to others, Tried to advise payment for a gift card on America, needed confirmation. When questoned,. tried to pass off to another person. Tied to keep talking when disconnected phone call. A definite scam.

My phone blocked a call from this number today. Looks like scam reporting is working.

SCAMMER…Claim to be from optus and my account had been hacked. They had also mentioned they are working with australian govt cyber security to secure my details then asked for all personal information…. I questioned them on the cyber security details to which they hung up the phone SCAMMER

Rang (unanswered) and no message left, looked dodgy

Caller: Scam caller

Claim to be from gmail and saying old email and number are being used by people overseas to launder money and open social media accounts. Told them I work for cyber security and they hung up straight away

Called but left no message.
