SMS reads... "H! Your debit card has been blocked due to unknown transaction on your card. Call us immediately for more details. Bank help center: (02) 8006 0243" This was reported to ACCC as a phishing scam. Note the American spelling of "center" which made us suspicious.

As other callers from this number. Requested me to phone a (02) 8007 4188 as debit card has been blocked etc. Assume a scam.

Could the call be from scammer?

Message from this number saying debit card was blocked and to call (02) 8007 4853. Obviously a scam as no identification of financial institution and they wouldn't do this any way.

Caller: Spam message

Sent message about debit card has been blocked and asked to ring a number (02) 8007 4853 (phone number has a link, possible for hacking). Did not say which bank.

Got an sms saying that my debit card has been cancelled and to click a link to re-activate. This is a scam!!
