Scam call claiming to be from Telstra giving me 50% off my bill from my next bill onwards. Told them I don't have any Telstra services.

Caller: Indian woman

Claiming to be from Telstra with 50% discount. Wanted the genuine Microsoft code text to my phone while on the call. Which if I had given would have allowed access to my email etc. Absolute scam call in an attempt to access email which allows change of Telstra password which in turn allows bank access, and myGov access. Be aware of this type of questioning. Fortunately most of these calls come from heavily accented brown people which fits the stereotype nicely and who should be avoided. Do not entertain a call from accented Indians / asians

DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER. Caller stated they are from Telstra Mobile Services and are offering 50% off two mobile bills for the next 6 months. I advised that I don't have a Telstra mobile and she stated that the discount can be extended to home phone, internet, Foxtel etc. Caller advised that they would send me all of the details via email and recited my correct email address. Caller also had my full name. Caller advised they were sending an SMS with a verification code and to advise her of the code, when I received the SMS it was a code to reset my Microsoft account password. I immediately hung up the call. She then tried to call me back 5 times and sent me 6 text messages asking "Are you there" and stating "Mam I have all of your details already".

This number called twice but didn’t leave a message- number not known to me - I suspect SCAM CALLER
