Lady with an english accent telling a story how I haven't used my government grant about a previous power bill. Hung up straight away - scam

I didn’t answer and no message left. I have blocked as per other comments!

Used a name that I do not use for anything other than games etc and then got angry and hung up when I said please don't bother me with your scam call while I am actually at work trying to pay for the phone that you are now taking up space on. She started loudly exclaiming 'this is not a scam' and hung up on me.

Calls you then hangs up when you answer. Wasting peoples time

Caller: Sam from “EG Electrical in Bowen Hills”... as soon as I heard this, I hung up and blocked the number.

Caller: John from se company called energy

He wanted to know why I hadn’t claimed my rebate. He called me by my first name. I asked where he got this from and he said some home loan database but he wasn’t sure. I told him he was a scammer and I disconnected the call. Number blocked

Aggressively asked why I haven’t taken advantage of government rebates since last “talking to his colleague Jessie”. when I wouldn’t give him any information and asked why would I have spoken to them in the past. Got aggressive, made a poor attempt to try and insult me and then hung up.

Supposed Solar Rebate Scam

Scam / call centre pretending to be “helping” with government rebates. Immediately hung up on me when I said I wasn’t interested

Unknown number, straight to voicemail, left no message. I tried to call back, number not connected.

This number is allocated to a company called Pivotel Satellite. Ask yourself "who would be calling me from a satellite phone? - Your friendly local scammer - that's who!

Its the second time I've had this call. NOTE; Energy companies on Australia DO NOT CALL their customers about "why haven't you used your government grant" piss off scammers.

Called, but I didn't answer and they just didn't leave a voice message.
