Caller: Unsure I answered and then a Pre Recorded Message said to me that my Visa or Mastercard had a fraudulent charge of $900 and I had to press 1 to accept (or something along those lines) I just hung up

All mobile numbers starting 0488879/0488878 can be considered scam calls.

Callers from 048887 numbers are rabid scammers. I've blocked the range of numbers but, undaunted, they try to call every day from slightly different numbers as if they think that for some reason I will then answer. (Evidently it is essential that I do.) Numbers so far: 04887 9205, 1841, 5617, 2289 and 9207.

Caller: Allegedly a Michael cole from telstra with an indian accent Says he was from Telstra, gave an employee name and I D number. Sends a 6 digit pass code, which is a Microsoft account reset code, not a telstra code. Hang up

Called twice = very similar number that called 2 days ago - just the last 3 digits different. Robo voice said 'hello valuable customer'. Hung up both times.

Very unprofessional, claimed to be Optus. Telling me that a transaction took place this morning for $416 and they needed confirmation. I told them this is a scam call and they hung up.
