I said hello. Automatic recording said "this is an emergency optus call" and it then went into a female chinese blab blab blab blab blab. I hung up. Wish they'd get a life.

Pre recorded message saying my phone service will be shutdown in 2 hours and to enquire press 1.....

Called from Telstra wants to take control of one of the devices in my home to check speed. I don't understand why the government can't shut people like this down. Same group has tried from a set of numbers all starting with 0488878

Foreign female voice rang me. Said she was from Visa. Asked for me by name (but used a shortened version of my name). Said there was unusual activity on my visa account. I said I will ring my bank thank you, and then I hung up.

No immediate response. I have blocked it.

Claimed to be from Amazon Prime. This is a fake, do not answer.

Robot voice automated call with options claiming my number will be cancelled.

0488 878 955 as well as the number 0489 997 884 rang me at similar time. No message.

Said she was from eBay and that I had made a purchase for gift cards in California. Started asking for information about my account. Terminated the call when I asked why she needed the requested information.

unsolicited phone call today, no message left, rang them back, answering machine said mail box was full, likely scam as per previous comments

Called and said that a letter from AUSPost had attempted to be delivered twice unsuccessfully, before translating into Mandarin (I believe). Repeated the message until I hung up. Seems to be a number that a lot of scammers are using at the moment, especially considering the frequency of calls in the past week or so.

They left a voice mail - an American English-speaking female voice then started speaking in the Chinese language. I will not be calling back. I suspect is a scam call.

impersonating commbank, saying there was a suspicious transaction on my account and asking me to verify if it was me or not. and said someone had hacked into my account and changed all my details and needed me to go into my bank app to fix this. they insisted that they would provide me with their employee ID and website to check that they were authentic, but refused to give me the ID without following their exact instructions.

Caller: Scam - Microsoft

My teenage son received a call from an Indian woman on this number. She was telling him she is from Microsoft and calling because they noticed too many critical errors on his computer. I got on the line and requested her name, company name and company phone number. She provided a number that doesn't exist. I advised her that I'm a fraud investigator to which she began to abuse me and swear at me. This number is now confirmed as a number used by scammers.
