Claiming to be able to get you cheaper power prices, asked about if I was aware or price increase, played along for a bit then told her to fu*k and try your scam somewhere else, then blocked them

No message left so can't be important!

Voice call on my Mobile phone was in Chinese .

Caller: Recorded message scam

Recorded message claiming to be from Telstra and that my phone number was about to be terminated immediately. "To talk to a operator, press 9"

My wife received a call on her smartphone from this number today. I'm Australian but she's Chinese and doesn't speak much English. But the caller spoke Chinese and said her telephone would be cut off today because she hadn't paid her bill. She disconnected immediately.
How do these scammers get this detailed information? Her 'phone is on my account with Vodafone and of course everything to do with the account is in English. In any case the account the last payment on the account was paid only a few days ago.

Claimed to be from immigration with warning about my (non existant) visa

Don’t answer, scam call

It bleeped when I answered I then know this is a robotic call so I hung up before they can get to say anything. Last company I sent them a message reporting them for fraud as they presented to be the bank.

Definitely scam call, I didnt answer, went to voicemail and was a recording saying something about my account being blocked requesting payment, block this number
