I have been called by this number several times even after blocking the number. No message left each time. What is the point of having an option to block a number when it doesn't work 🤬

Caller: MATER Home Lotteries This is a legitimate call from MATER Home Lotteries. It's not a scam, they just legally can't leave a voicemail message. I called back and got their switchboard welcome message, then answered by a lovely bloke named Carlos. I told him I had a missed call, and he said that was their outbound call team checking to see if I wanted to purchase any additional tickets. I said no, he said "No worries, have a great day!" No dramas.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

If it is Mater homes, I would have answered if I had won one of the last houses I spent $100 in tickets on, but I didn't, so not talking to them again.

Caller: Mater Home Lottery Actually they do use mobile to call. The only reason why they don't leave a message is because legally they can't "being a lottery". My guess it's considered to fall under gambling.

Caller: Going by the other comments, it appears that it is one of the telemarketers calling for the Mater Prize home. I received regular calls at random times from 0488 numbers, blocked some of them to no avail 😁

Caller: Mater home lotteries Missed call, called back got voice mail mater home lotteries. Mater lotteries does not use a mobile number for their callouts, obviously a scam. Got a few SMS scams claiming to be the Mater lotteries also.

Caller: Mater Lotteries What is the point of buying a ticket in their House lottery when all they do is send emails and texts and phone calls to buy more. Just a big scam if you asked me. I don't reckon anyone wins as this time they simply "raffled the house again" after supposedly being won last time but the people didn't want it......and if you believe that...... just keep raffling the same house over and over making millions.
