Scam all over it.
Rang back a missed call from this number, "You're a winner" spiel, $100 Bunnings, Coles etc,
How did you get my name/number? You entered a competition (no!) sometime in the last 2 years (no!) could've been family or friend entered on your behalf (what? No!)
Take me off your scam list.

Rings twice and hangs up - Usual MO for scam caller.

Rang me. I said 'Hello' twice and then they hung up...

Saying that I had entered a competition in October for a phone (which I hadn't) through Coles, Woolies, Dan Murphy's Big W - Coles isn't part of the WWG! Had my name - and wanted to go through a financial survey to give me a household gift - so dodgy and I said there was no way I would be giving any personal details out for a competition that I didn't enter

They called and told me I could be in a competition to win a free holiday

Woman with Australian accent knew my name and told me I'd entered a competition to win an iPhone - told her I have never, and will never, try to win anything from Apple. I promptly hung up and blocked the number. How in the hell do they know my name?

Waited until I said hello about 5 times & hung up ...

Tried to tell me my tax file number was being blocked and an arrest warrant issued for fraudulent taxation activity 😂 I want my tax back if paying it is fraudulent 😂

Received a text stating I missed a call from this number (I hadn't), and to call 159 to opt out. SCAMALICIOUS!

Called and asked for me by my first name.
Then said I had one a gift voucher in a competition.
Before i could asked what competition he asked me to verify that I,m a homeowner. Said I,m not .
Told me I was entered in the wrong competition and will be entered into the competition for renters then promptly hung up.
Seemed suss from the start!!

Caller: Woman saying 'I won a competition to win an iphone'

An australian young woman's voice (beware!). Tried to bait me into 'receiving' an iphone for a competition I supposedly am In (I knew I hadn't). I hung up before letting it get any further.

Speculating it would escalate to handing over money, my bank details or address or some other personable information.

This number contacted me (lady with an Australian voice) and said I had entered into a competition last year (i have no idea) and I have been selected for a $100 voucher to Coles or Dan Murphy's. She asked for details and i said i have no idea about this and not prepared to give any details. She instantly hang up on me.
