Answered call. No one spoke. Called the number back straight away and received a “this number is no longer in service recording”

I would receive a call every couple of days from this number when I pick up it never answers nothing just hangs up if I don't pick up and I called back I can't get through to nobody

Told me I entered a survey which I hadn’t and have won a free iPad . Asking yes or no questions hung up and blocked

From FMP a financial company and said I won an iPhone from a survey. When I answered the call the person was swearing and didn't realise I had answered

Back to back: Just hung up from one ‘research company’ called when this call came through. Australian accent, said I’d joined a competition which I never do. Told him to call back later and blocked this number.
Keep asking ‘yes-no’ questions.
It’s time for companies to stop accepting telephone ‘yes’ as agreeing to terms of contracts. Go back to when contracts must be signed preferably before witness to be valid.

Do not answer... they also use variants on the number once you block one number but anything starting 0488 828...I know is nuisance call

Caller: Forgotten Her Name & Company

Caller new my name & surname, said I’d done a survey recently & something about winning a phone. I said I hadn’t done any surveys & she said: Oh it might have been in the last 5 months.
Then she went on about home ownership to make sure I qualified for the phone prize, & asked how long I’d been a home owner etc. I told her I Rent where I live.
Then she said: Ok do you own any other properties & I responded with No.
She ended the call politely.
Have blocked the number now.
Company name she mentioned sounded like aca/asa/acia ? I don’t know she had an English/England accent .

Capital Wealth Management was the "Company" that called. Promised a free tablet if I attend a seminar. Might put the pj's on and have a beer at home that night. :-)

Got a missed call from this number. Call back, said number NOT IN SERVICE

This number has called me on the 13/07 at 12.25pm, 2.45pm, 5.33pm and on the 14/07 at 10.46am and 12.19pm. They have left no voicemails. I sent a text in between these calls asking who they were, no reply but yet they still called my number.

I tried calling this number but was met with a "this number is not in service" recording. I answered one call with a man on the other end asking "Hi is this ......?" then they hung up. If your asking who I am, you don't know me so why are you calling me 5 times in the two days without leaving a message. Its obviously not an emergency then. NUMBER NOW BLOCKED BUDDY.

I get all similar numbers calling me everyday!! Yep its spam!!! All numbers are block and still blocking

Caller: Sarah from IQ Capital (Aussie with Aussie accent).

They get your details from surveys. If you haven't filled in a survey, it can be from those ROKT and other competitions. They are buying databases.

Call promising a free iPhone if you have a mortgage/home loan and refinance with them.

I politely declined.

It's not a scam per se, just a purchased database, and they will remove your details from their database if you request it.

I advised Sarah when she called me that my phone was on the Do Not Call Register.

called and said i could win a tablet. confirmed what my last name is, i said yes when he mentioned my last name (my bad!) then asked if i am a home owner, i said no and the caller apologized and dropped the call. o boy, i might be getting hacked soon!

Called back and message said '"stay on the line, your call is important to us". So I hung up and blocked the number.
