I received the same text message today. I have reported this to scam watch.

Asked in a message to call a number to discuss an urgent matter claiming to be debt collecters. I have reported to scamwatch.

Claims to be Dunn and Bradstreet but isn't. He is a scam caller I have dealt with before and with the help of D&B we are now dealing with him legally and permanently. We're closing in and he will be gone soon.

I first got a text from them mid/late last year (I'm not from Australia not used to scammers but am aware of them) I don't have any debt and good credit, have never received a final notice and all bills are up to date etc and when I rang I gave them SOME information and the reference number that is required but not everything and they still wouldn't tell me what the "matter" was about unless I answered all their questions which were very personal that even banks don't ask. They wouldn't tell me who they were or what they do when I asked and kept referring me to some website before hanging up on me because I wouldn't answer the questions. Have constantly received texts and phone calls (all blocked so go straight to voicemail) weekly since then all from different numbers and the reference number changes every so often. the numbers they ring or text from are not associated with "Dun & Bradstreet" and always show up as scam reports when I google them.
This has been going on for months and I've started keeping a log of every call/text they make. Pretty sure if I owed money I would've received notices or someone would've turned up on my doorstep by now :/

Called today to ask me to call on 1300 663 834 immediately to discuss an important matter. Dun & Brad street. Do not call them!!

this is Scam - i had same message and reported to ATO

got a message saying i owe a debt and to call this number - scammer and reported to federal police

"Please call immediately to discuss an important matter. Quote XXXXXXXX when you call. Thank you. Dun & Bradstreet"

Scammers

Another text asking to call their 1300 number. Any company that you have a debt with are required to send a final warning letter before sending to an external debt collectors agency. Tempted to call them anyway to test them out lol

Husband and I both got a message claiming to discuss an important matter with a quote number but my warning bells went off... If we owed money why isn't there a sent invoice of money we would owe? so glad I didn't reply after reading on this. BLOCK!! sure is a scam

New year, same scam. Blocked and reported.

I received a text message today from this number to say to call them immediately and to quote a reference number. I called them and quoted the reference and they said thats not me. Is this a scam or a hoax? The guy on the other end of the phone was asking me all sorts of questions like all my addresses, car rego etc etc which I felt uncomfortable doing. He said my surname matched records but not my first and middle name. Seems strange to me. Why was he asking me all these personal questions. He said don't worry when it wasn't my first name. Is this a scam. I know I dont have anything to worry about and as honest as they come and have nothing outstanding.
