Obviously a debt collector.
Am already paying debt off with provider but clearly they want their money too.

This is a total scam. I called the number and quoted my reference number. He asked me for my name address and dob. I refused and said not until I know what it's about. He said they are working on behalf of the dept of human services and was about my myGov account. I asked what about myGov account specifically. He said I can tell this is for someone else's account. I said how can you tell that when you don't know who I am (I turned my phone on private). He said we have the wrong phone number on file and I will delete it so you don't get any calls or texts from us in the future. Do not give them your details. This is a scam!

I got a text addressed to someone else. Called the 1300 number, got put on hold and eventually got a message saying they were unusually busy and to leave my personal details and they would call me back. I hung up and then thought to look up the number online. Annoyingly however when you go to dun and bradstreet website to verify whether the 1300 number is there's it says....As a large organisation working for many Australian businesses, we have many 1300 numbers in operation.
Please call the 1300 number mentioned in the communication you’ve received from us and one of our operators will be able to assist you.... so i guess making it so you can't check the legitimacy of the number you are calling.

constantly sends text messages about someone elses debt. obviosly has the wrong number, have called dunn and bradstreet to clarify but still get harassment calls, hanging up on me as soon as i answer and texts adressed to some other person I've never heard of..

Did you confirm you name and DOB?

This is a scam imitating debt collectors.

Happened today, but the scary thing is, they told me it's re the estate of ???, which is what we are currently going through due to death in family. Only reason I was cautious is because Dun & Bradstreet wouldn't be involved and our own solicitor would be calling.
Have now blocked that number, but how the hell do they know about an estate?

these people called me and drained my life on a bill that was already paid. now they're doing it again. You're better off dealing directly with the company through invoice is from and block this annoying company.
