Kept calling me in regards to an important matter...wants all my personal details after I refused to he text back 5 Days later. When I still refused to give my address he said ok don't worry ignore the message and he hung up. If it was that important he wouldn't just hang up!!

As an accountant, these people are definitely not actual debt collectors. Received numerous texts telling me to resolve outstanding debt with my tax refund. Please be careful and don't give any details to these people. There are so many ATO and tax scams out there, do not be the person that gets caught out.

Claims to have been trying to contact me, but I have no missed calls from the number quoted. I texted back and advised if it was that urgent to try calling again. Given prior comments here, interested to find out what I allegedly owe somebody as no unpaid bills that I'm aware of...but not that interested
