Caller: Spam or fax

High pitched noise followed by white noise, possible fax/possible scam

Knew my name, foreign accent and did not state where they were calling drom. Background noise like there were a lot of other people also calling. Probably telemarketer or scam.

Caller: Apparently an "IT Company"

Advised was calling from an "IT company". Advised me a very old unused domain I own needed a website. I asked where he had gotten my details and he said that "I'd registered them". I told him he was unfortunately mistaken, and asked him again. He stuttered a bit, and then hung up.

It is an auto dialler spammers use them to spam numbers.
When it has dialled 100 or so numbers they replay the machine and listen to see what numbers answer don’t say anything and you won’t get a callback from a scammer.

Scam call - background noise, knew my name but kept asking me to confirm it, now blocked.

Probably a scam

They knew my name and claiming I just purchased a domain which I didn’t . Then they hang up

No message just a recording. Likely spam.

Didn't leave a message so blocked now

A high pitch noise, with lots of voices in the background. An accented person trying to say hi, but hung up.
So over these calls

Lots of background noise like other callers and long pause before speaking and sounded foreign. I hung up.

Caller: No idea who caller represents

Lots of background (call centre) noise, and after telling them not interested and they persisted I just terminated the call. They did ask me to confirm my name which they already had.

Seems to be a scam

Went straight to voicemail options to leave message. British accent but doesn’t say who it is. Bad recording as well. Spam
